About our projects rights
There've been some questions, so I'd like to answer them all at once.
Morenatsu's origins as a project come from the 2ch kemono community thread.
The game's character design and setting were originally collected from suggestions made by many staff members.
There were a great many people involved.
The character designs, too, were originally drawn up on an image board created for the purpose of soliciting designs.
The current Morenatsu staff are making use of these designs.
Therefore, while the Morenatsu project retains the rights to the specific in-game art and script as well as the images on the web site, there is no need to ask for permission to use the characters themselves, whether for personal use or a separate group project. We don't have the authority to grant this permission even if we were asked.
In other words, we won't take part, but we have no problem with others freely using these characters. However, extracting elements of the Morenatsu game and modifying, translating, or distributing them constitutes a violation of copyright.
We prohibit you from following without permission:
1)Developing and modifying our programs
2)Putting them on your site
If you do these things, access from your country will be disabled.
The above may sound unfriendly, but in truth, the Morenatsu staff all enjoy seeing other people's drawings of the characters.
